Since 2004, the monitoring of surface water has been carried out, while the monitoring of ground water has been going on since 2005. In addition to that, since 2007, the population of wood grouse on the territory adjacent to the mine has been monitored, and since 2015, the condition of Muraka bog has also been observed.
