Põhjarannik
Four years ago, when winter was colder than expected, numerous failures of water and heat supply systems took place, as well as problems related to frozen pipes. According to community services, to this day there were no incidents occurred.
The companies Kohtla-Järve Soojus and VKG Energia which are heat suppliers for residential accomodation have informed their power plants and heat distribution networks are in full order.
The power station is in steady operation
Last year VKG Energia managed to get repared weak points in its heat distribution network, and this year the company was completely ready for this heating season in November. The PR-manager of VKG Julia Aleksandrova has confirmed the heat suppliers could cope even with 30°C cold.
