Presentation of Kaljo Kiisk Grant

For the third year in a row, VKG will join forces with Jõhvi Concert Hall and Jõhvi Municipal Government to present the Kaljo Kiisk Grant to a young film-maker. The recipient of the grant will be selected in January. Competition for the grant started in late October and ended on 19 November 2012.

Actor and director Kaljo Kiisk (1926-2007) was from Ida-Virumaa. The purpose of the grant is to keep the memory of this great film-maker alive and to support young film-makers who have used Ida-Viru County in their work. The goal of the competition is to motivate young filmmakers to discover and film the diversity of Ida-Viru County and to help the county maintain a positive image.
